How to do Remote viewing/mornitoring and search?
Our systems allow two kinds of remote viewing.
Viewing via an Internet Explorer Browser ---- IE viewing
IE viewing is the easiest way to view remote DVR. You do not need to install software on remote PC or bring your laptop with you. You can do remote basic viewing or basic search in this way.
Please open an IE, type in the IP address of DVR with port number , If no display windows come out but only see a Red cross like this 
, that means that your computer has not downloaded required ActiveX Control plug-in properly. The reason may be the security level of your computer is too high, or your computer has plug-in filters. The simplest way is to run ActiveX installation manually by clicking on following link ActiveX Installation, then refresh the web brouser again.
OR
Do following steps to make it work:
- On Internet Explorer Manu Bar, Click on Tools, then Select Internet Options, Click on Security, Click on Trusted sites, then select Sites
See picture below and do from step 1 to step 5
Now refresh the connection, you will download the ActiveX control file again and click install on prompt pop up. That is it.
Some people make ActiveX installation work by enable all ActiveX control plug in, it is fine, but you have to remember reset it back after you install this ActiveX control. Otherwise your PC would be at risk of virus attacks.

If blue image windows show up but no camera images after you press the logon button or Internet Explorer happen error, the reason may be that your computer installed old version plug-in before. In the folder of C:\Winnt\System32, Please find these files “dvrnet.dll, netchannel.dll, HikplayM4.dll, AVTdvr.ocx, M4play.dll” . Delete them and exit. Then enter IE to refresh the connection.
